**Fragrance composition**
Chanel N°5 Eau De Parfum opens with classic aldehydes that bring airiness and elegance, combined with bright notes of ylang-ylang, neroli and citruses. In the heart, gentle rose, lily of the valley and jasmine create a sophisticated floral sound. In the base, warm amber, vanilla, sandalwood and oriental patchouli bring depth and longevity to the fragrance.

**The story of the fragrance**
In 1921, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel launched her first women's Eau De Parfum, Chanel N°5. Her wish was to create a fragrance that would reflect her childhood in Aubazine, France. Chemist Ernest Beaux made this wish come true by preparing several samples, from which Gabrielle chose number five. The first 100 bottles were given as gifts to Chanel customers, but the fragrance soon became a household name and has remained one of the world's most popular fragrances for over a century.
